Sight Word Lists
Learning sight words is just one very important step in becoming a fluent reader. We want the kids to be excited about learning to read. When we learn sight words we try to do it in FUN way. We chant the letters in silly voices. We build the words out of play-dough or write them in shaving cream. We use motions to spell the words. We "rainbow write" the words. We play many word games like Crash and Sparkle. Any help you can give your child at home will help them tremendously! Just remember...keep it FUN!
